This book is the revised edition published by The World Publishing Company 1957. It was formerly titled Stella Standard Cookbook. It has almost 2000 recipes, many from other lands. Here is a sampling: meat cakes, stuffed eggs with crab meat or shrimp sauce, creamed lima beans, baked shredded carrots, old fashioned buckwheat pancakes, Yorkshire pudding, artichaut a la barigoule, roast Canada goose, ham turnovers and much more!
The book is used, has no dustcover, and there is library tape on the spine. Some of the pages are starting to yellow.
